Salvation

We want everyone to experience the love that God has for them

Step 1

Know that God loves you and wants to give you a New Life.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

But it is not enough just to know that God loves you.

Step 2

See that your sin has separated you from God and the life He desires to give you.

"As it is written: 'There is no one righteous, not even one'... For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"(Romans 3:10, 23).
"Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned" (Romans 5:12).
"The wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23).

Sin has separated you from God. Many people try in vain to reach God through living a good life, giving to a church, or practising a religion. But there is only one way to God.

Step 3

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you and rose again so that He might give you eternal life.

Jesus died for you. You are special in God's sight.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
Jesus was buried and rose again.
"... Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures... he was buried... he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures... he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time..." (1 Corinthians 15:3-6).

"... the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast"(Ephesians 2:8-9).

Jesus is the only way to God. He is God's Son who died in your place to pay the penalty for your sins. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

Step 4

Confess your sins to God and turn away from them to serve God faithfully.

"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out" (Acts 3:19).

Step 5

Receive Jesus Christ by faith, accepting Him alone as your Lord and Saviour.

You must receive Jesus Christ.
"... to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"(John 1:12).
You must receive Him by faith.
"... if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved... for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10: 9,13).

You can receive Christ now by faith as you talk to God in prayer. The following words may help you say what is in your heart:
"Lord, I cannot save myself. I know that I have sinned, and I am sorry for the way I have lived that has separated me from You. I receive Jesus Christ by faith as my Lord and Saviour. Lord Jesus, thank You for dying for my sins. I accept You now as Lord of my life. Help me to live for You and to be all that You want me to be."
Can you sincerely pray this prayer? If so, pray it now to God from your heart, and Christ Jesus will come into your life as He has promised.

When you receive Christ, you are born again and receive eternal life.

"... to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"(John 1:12).
"For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God" (1 Peter 1:23).
Jesus promises eternal life to all who believe and entrust themselves to Him.
"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life" (John 5:24).
"Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life" (1 John 5:12).
